  • • The Strategic Account Executive role at Commvault Systems, Inc. is a field-based sales position focused on driving revenue by selling complex cyber resilience solutions to large enterprise accounts in the Greater Boston area. This role is critical to Commvault’s mission of helping organizations protect, manage, and recover their data in the face of evolving cyber threats.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas, developing strategic account plans for new and existing customers, leading cross-functional sales efforts, constructing and delivering executive-level business cases (including ROI and TCO analysis), negotiating and closing complex software deals, and maintaining deep relationships with key stakeholders at the CXO level.
  • • Commvault is a NASDAQ-listed leader in cyber resilience with over 25 years of innovation, serving more than 100,000 organizations globally. The company provides an AI-powered platform that integrates data protection, security, intelligence, and rapid recovery to ensure business continuity and lowest total cost of ownership across any workload or cloud environment.
  • • In this role, the successful candidate will develop advanced enterprise sales expertise, master complex solution selling methodologies like MEDDIC and Command of the Message, build strategic partner alliances, and gain deep exposure to cybersecurity and data management markets—positioning them for long-term growth in strategic sales leadership.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree and proven sales experience required
  • • Demonstrated success in enterprise software sales, including experience selling six- and seven-figure deals and managing integrated selling teams
  • • Minimum of two years of success in identifying, building relationships, and selling directly or through partners in the storage or data management industry
