- • Originate and manage purchase-focused mortgage loans from application through closing while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- • Convert Zillow-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up, borrower consultation, and timely communication via phone, email, and text.
- • Operate within one of two specialized lending models: a high-volume, lead-driven, phone-based environment or a consultative, market-based model focused on building relationships with Zillow Preferred Agents.
- • Maintain and grow an active loan pipeline while meeting defined service levels, productivity metrics, and funding targets in a structured, performance-driven environment.
- • Utilize Zillow’s proprietary CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven tools to monitor pipeline health, track customer engagement, and optimize workflow efficiency.
- • Collaborate closely with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure seamless loan progression and timely closings.
- • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by providing clear, consultative guidance throughout the mortgage process, tailored to individual borrower needs.
- • Stay current on evolving market trends, lending programs, interest rates, and federal/state regulatory requirements to offer accurate and compliant financing solutions.
- • Maintain active NMLS licensing, complete required continuing education, and participate in ongoing professional development to remain in good standing.
- • Record and store voiceprints for operational, compliance, and quality assurance purposes as part of standard business practices.
- • Work remotely from a principal place of residence physically located within the state of Vermont, with potential optional time spent at company offices.
- • Adhere to all company policies, including those related to data security, client confidentiality, and ethical lending practices.
- • Demonstrate strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple active loan files simultaneously.
- • Apply consultative sales techniques to build trust quickly with borrowers and, where applicable, establish long-term partnerships with real estate professionals.
- • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other digital platforms used for loan documentation and client communication.
