📋 Description

• The Remote Observation Assistant plays a critical role in patient safety by providing continuous visual monitoring of patients in a healthcare setting, ensuring timely intervention when risks arise and supporting clinical staff through vigilant observation and communication.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring up to 12 patients simultaneously via video systems, maintaining constant attention without distraction, promptly notifying nursing staff of concerns, documenting observations, managing technical equipment, and ensuring patient data is accurately entered into hospital systems.
• Allina Health System is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to whole-person care, serving patients across Minnesota and western Wisconsin with a mission to prevent illness, restore health, and provide comfort through compassionate, patient-centered services.
• In this role, you will develop strong observational and communication skills, gain experience in healthcare technology systems, contribute to a safe clinical environment, and build foundational experience for advancement in patient care or healthcare support roles.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program, completion of the Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy Program, or previous direct patient care experience
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
