- • The Remote Senior Director, Nurse Practitioners and PAs leads the Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care delivery across multi-state markets, driving clinical excellence and operational performance in alignment with Alignment Healthcare’s mission to transform care for seniors and the chronically ill.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading the evolution of the APC care delivery model, overseeing clinical standards and compliance, managing performance through KPIs and data dashboards, leading talent strategy including recruitment and development, and collaborating cross-functionally to integrate care and advocate for patients.
- • The role sits within Alignment Healthcare’s Clinical Leadership Team, working closely with Care Anywhere and Jump Start Assessment teams to advance value-based care, reduce avoidable utilization, and improve quality outcomes such as HEDIS scores and patient satisfaction.
- • The individual will gain strategic influence in shaping enterprise-wide clinical operations, develop expertise in population health and risk-based care, lead innovation in virtual and home-based care models, and build leadership experience in a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- • 3+ years of experience leading clinical staff, preferably in high-risk or home-based care settings
- • Master’s degree and active NP or PA license with board certification
- • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, HCPC codes, clinical standards of care, UM standards, NCQA requirements, CMS guidelines, and Medicaid/Medicare benefit systems
- • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to build constructive relationships with diverse stakeholders
- • Mathematical and reasoning skills: ability to perform calculations, prioritize tasks, solve complex problems, and analyze statistical reports
- • Proficiency in EMR documentation and Microsoft applications
