- • Provide live and non-live technical support for Cengage digital solutions used in educational environments, troubleshooting issues related to operating systems, browsers, plug-ins, and internet connectivity.
- • Use administrative tools to analyze and resolve customer-reported technical problems, escalate software-related issues to development teams, and document feature requests for product improvement.
- • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in a ticketing system and deliver clear, step-by-step guidance to users via written and verbal communication.
- • Work remotely from a dedicated home workspace with company-provided equipment, supporting Cengage’s mission to empower learners through innovative education technology.
- • Collaborate with a supportive team focused on inclusion, engagement, and discovery, contributing to a culture that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning.
- • Develop technical and product expertise while strengthening analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and Office suite; strong familiarity with Apple operating systems preferred
- • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues involving browsers, mobile devices, and system configurations
- • Strong keyboarding skills and experience maintaining accurate records in a ticketing system
- • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace at home
