📋 Description

• As the User Experience Manager at RoomPriceGenie, you will lead a small but impactful design and research team of two product designers and one user researcher, setting strategic direction and advocating for the function at the leadership level.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include championing design and research as strategic partners, setting vision for the function, integrating AI into workflows, collaborating with product leadership on roadmap alignment, and providing coaching and mentorship to team members.
• RoomPriceGenie is a remote-first, global company founded in 2017 that helps hoteliers optimize pricing through AI-driven solutions, serving clients across continents and fostering a culture of transparency, respect, and impact.
• In this role, you will grow as a UX leader by building team maturity, establishing design systems and playbooks, influencing product strategy with user insight, and developing career frameworks that elevate both design and research disciplines.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading user researchers and product designers with a passion for growing people and elevating craft
• Track record of advocating for design and research at the leadership level and influencing product strategy
• Experience building or maturing a design function, including establishing processes, systems, playbooks, or ways of working from the ground up
• Strong communicator who can translate design value into language that resonates with leadership, product, and engineering
• Compassionate, proactive leadership style that creates emotional safety and navigates difficult stakeholder dynamics with composure
