📋 Description

  • • As a Renewal Success Manager at DeepL, you will serve as the commercial architect managing the most critical phase of the customer lifecycle, ensuring that the value realized by customers translates into long-term commercial commitment for the company’s Language AI platform.
  • • You will strategically lead the renewals process for complex customer engagements, aligning customer health and usage with pricing models and growth-oriented contracts while designing multi-year agreements that reward adoption and enable future expansion.
  • • You will navigate complex procurement processes, leading negotiations with legal, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure terms align with Deal Desk standards and protect margins while fostering lasting relationships.
  • • You will partner closely with Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, and the broader Go-to-Market team to ensure alignment across the customer journey and maintain forecast accuracy for your region, making 'on-time' renewals the standard.
  • • You will collaborate with Global Systems Integrators and partners to align renewal strategies with customers’ broader digital transformation initiatives.
  • • You will operate within a diverse, international team of over 90 nationalities, contributing to a mission-driven culture that values innovation, trust, curiosity, and well-being.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven success in a commercial renewal role within a SaaS or AI organization.
  • • Strong ability to craft and deliver a compelling value narrative that aligns customer outcomes with commercial goals.
  • • Familiarity with the LAER customer success framework, quota-to-cash processes, and pricing levers that drive expansion and retention.
  • • Demonstrated skill in negotiating with procurement, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to protect margins while building long-term relationships.
  • • Highly structured and operational approach to managing the full renewal lifecycle with precision and consistency.
  • • Fluency in both German and English, essential for engaging with DACH region customers and internal stakeholders.
