  • • Manage the end-to-end renewal process for a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market customers across EMEA, ensuring timely and accurate contract renewals.
  • • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with technical and non-technical customers to reinforce the value of Docker’s products, including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
  • • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing customer accounts to drive revenue growth and expand product adoption.
  • • Negotiate and close renewal contracts in collaboration with the sales team, ensuring alignment on pricing, terms, and customer needs.
  • • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the renewal lifecycle, proactively addressing concerns and resolving issues in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in Salesforce or other CRM systems to support forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • • Collaborate with customer success, product, and support teams to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is channeled to improve the overall customer experience.
  • • Conduct regular check-ins and value-based conversations with customers to demonstrate ongoing ROI and reinforce the strategic importance of Docker’s platform in their development workflows.
  • • Monitor renewal pipelines and prioritize accounts based on risk, revenue potential, and strategic value to maximize retention and expansion.
  • • Stay informed about Docker’s product roadmap and features to effectively articulate how updates and enhancements align with evolving customer use cases, particularly in AI-driven software development environments.
  • • Participate in internal projects aimed at improving renewal processes, customer communication workflows, and overall customer satisfaction metrics.
  • • Adapt to Docker’s remote-first culture, working across time zones within EMEA to support global customer needs.
  • • Contribute to a customer-centric culture by embodying Docker’s mission to make software development trustworthy, secure, and accessible by default.
  • • Participate in onboarding and training during the first 30 days to gain proficiency in Docker’s product suite and internal systems.
  • • Within 90 days, independently manage a full customer portfolio, initiate upsell/cross-sell conversations, and resolve customer issues with cross-functional support.
  • • By the one-year mark, consistently drive high retention rates, identify strategic expansion opportunities, and actively contribute to improving customer experience initiatives across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • • Proven track record managing enterprise or mid-market accounts
  • • Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritize based on revenue and risk
  • • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM tool
  • • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
