  • • As a Sales Representative for the Diabetes Line in MĂ©rida, you will be a pivotal force in driving the success of Abbott's innovative healthcare solutions within a key therapeutic area. This role is integral to the Established Pharmaceuticals Division, focusing on expanding access to our trusted medications in rapidly growing markets. You will be instrumental in generating demand by securing prescriptions and ensuring product availability at the pharmacy level, ultimately contributing to the achievement of annual sales targets for your assigned brands.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to meet and exceed sales quotas for the products under your purview, actively promoting growth and increasing market share within your designated territory. This involves a strategic approach to identifying and engaging with the most productive healthcare professionals, ensuring your efforts are focused and impactful.
  • • You will meticulously execute a targeting process to build and maintain a comprehensive database of physicians who represent the highest potential for prescribing your products. This data-driven approach will allow for optimized resource allocation and personalized engagement strategies.
  • • Maintaining a consistent and effective frequency of visits to physicians and pharmacies is crucial. This regular interaction ensures that our products remain top-of-mind for prescribers and that adequate stock levels are maintained at points of sale, preventing stock-outs and ensuring patient access.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to strategically position Abbott's diabetes products within the medical community. This involves clearly communicating the clinical benefits, efficacy, and value proposition of our medications to physicians, fostering trust and encouraging adoption.
  • • You will collaborate closely with pharmacists to ensure seamless product availability and efficient inventory management at the retail level. This partnership is essential for guaranteeing that patients can readily obtain the medications they need.
  • • Effective administration and control of company resources, particularly the management of medical samples, will be a critical component of your daily activities. Diligent tracking and responsible distribution of samples are vital for compliance and maximizing their impact.
  • • Continuous self-learning and professional development are expected. This includes staying abreast of the latest clinical data, understanding competitive landscapes, participating in audits, honing your sales techniques, and deepening your medical knowledge related to your assigned brands.
