- • As a Residential Support Representative, you will be the frontline voice helping customers troubleshoot Schlage products and ensure their safety and security at home, directly contributing to Allegion’s mission of pioneering safety and security worldwide.
- • Day to day, you will provide positive customer experiences by troubleshooting basic technical issues over phone and digital channels, guiding customers through installation, app setup, and product registration, while escalating complex issues to internal SMEs when needed.
- • You will join a global team of 12,000+ employees across 30 brands in 130 countries, recognized with the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for two consecutive years, fostering a culture of engagement, strengths-based development, and human potential.
- • In this role, you will develop deep product knowledge of Allegion’s consumer locks and integrated systems, enhance your customer service and troubleshooting skills, and grow professionally through ongoing training, tuition reimbursement, and CliftonStrengths coaching.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- • HS Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred
- • Ability to type 55 wpm, corrected speed
- • 1+ years’ experience handling high-volume inquiries
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proper grammar and punctuation
- • Working knowledge of PC-based software applications (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel) & basic web applications
- • Familiarity with Zendesk, Five9, call center systems, and troubleshooting physical products
- • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- • Availability to work Monday to Friday with a 10:00 AM ET or 11:00 AM ET start; may need to work weekends or holidays as needed
- • Bilingual in Spanish and/or French is a plus
