• • As a Resource Management Specialist at Tenable, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of our Professional Services and Education engagements across the globe. You will be the central point of contact for all resourcing needs, collaborating closely with Services Account Managers, Delivery Managers, and Education Leads to align talent with project requirements.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously manage the allocation of our highly skilled consultants and trainers to both potential and confirmed engagements. This involves a deep understanding of project scopes, required skill sets, and consultant availability, ensuring that the right expertise is assigned to the right task at the right time.
• • You will be instrumental in supporting the entire engagement lifecycle, from the initial booking and scheduling of resources to the final stages of delivery and revenue recognition. This end-to-end oversight requires proactive planning and diligent follow-through.
• • A key aspect of your role will be to proactively identify and resolve resource booking conflicts. This requires strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, as you'll need to balance competing demands and find optimal solutions that satisfy both project timelines and consultant availability.
• • You will actively participate in weekly resource meetings with Services Account and Delivery Managers. These meetings are critical for understanding upcoming project needs, identifying potential resource gaps, and collaboratively resolving any resourcing issues or conflicts that may arise.
• • Building, maintaining, and communicating accurate resource forecasts will be a core function. You will leverage insights from your meetings with Professional Services leads to provide visibility into future resource demands, enabling strategic workforce planning.
• • Effective communication is paramount. You will liaunt with clients and internal stakeholders to coordinate the scheduling of Professional Services and Education engagements, ensuring clear expectations and timely confirmations.
• • You will continuously monitor day-to-day project activities and resource utilization. Your keen eye for detail will help identify instances of potential underutilization, and you will proactively collaborate with Team Leads to address and resolve these issues, optimizing team efficiency.
• • A significant part of your role will involve managing the provision of virtual training courses, ensuring that all logistical aspects are handled smoothly and that participants have a positive learning experience.
• • You will play a crucial role in assisting with the management and increase of utilization numbers across the Professional Services team. By optimizing resource allocation, you will contribute directly to the team's productivity and profitability.
• • Furthermore, you will assist in managing subcontractor utilization. This involves making informed business decisions to ensure that work is delivered efficiently and that subcontracted resources are utilized effectively, providing cost-effective solutions.
• • You will become proficient in utilizing various software applications essential for resource management, including Microsoft Office Suite (with a strong emphasis on Excel), Google Suite, NetSuite, Financial Force, and Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and efficient workflow.
• • Beyond direct resourcing, you will identify and manage potential engagements that are suitable for subcontracting to our partners. You will ensure that the proper processes are followed for subcontracting and that these engagements are closed out in a timely and efficient manner.
• • You will be expected to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader success of the Professional Services and Education teams.
• • This role requires an individual who can work autonomously, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and meet tight deadlines with confidence and ease. Your ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple groups will be key to your success in this dynamic environment.
• • You will be working within a globally distributed client organization that operates both in-office and remotely, requiring adaptability and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
• • You will participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings, and may sometimes be the presenter of these trainings, showcasing your subject matter expertise and communication abilities.
• • While the role is primarily remote, there may be infrequent travel requirements to support specific client needs or team events.
