- • Join TELUS Health as a Retirement Calculation Verification Specialist, a critical role ensuring the accuracy and reliability of retirement and pension plan calculations for clients across Canada and the United States.
- • Day to day, you will communicate with functional leaders and business analysts to understand testing scope, analyze technical documents to identify required test scenarios, execute and verify calculation results using retirement calculation software, report and track anomalies, keep test suites updated with new features, participate in team meetings and review sessions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for problem solving, and contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes.
- • You will be part of TELUS Health, a global-leading health and well-being provider focused on physical, mental, and financial health, leveraging leading-edge technology to improve health outcomes for consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, employers, and employees.
- • In this role, you will gain incomparable expertise in retirement calculation verification and pension plan administration on the Canadian and American markets, work on multiple implementation projects for new clients throughout North America, and develop a diverse skill set in calculation types that even seasoned professionals at competitors may not match in less than a year.
🎯 Requirements
- • University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance
- • 7 years of relevant experience in Canadian or US Defined Benefit pension plan administration
- • Proficiency in pension calculation tools
- • Fluency in English and French (written and verbal)
- • Proficiency in Excel
- • VBA programming skills (asset)
