📋 Description

• The Revenue Cycle Coordinator at Modivcare Inc. plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate payment for services rendered, directly supporting the financial health of the organization and enabling continued delivery of essential healthcare services.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and managing accounts receivable, verifying insurance coverage, utilizing electronic billing systems to track payments and generate reports, resolving billing discrepancies and claim denials, collaborating with billing teams to ensure accurate claim submissions, maintaining updated insurance records, auditing billing functions for compliance, responding to inquiries from clients and payers, and staying current with insurance regulations and HIPAA requirements.
• The role operates within Modivcare’s Revenue Cycle Management team, a service-oriented organization dedicated to improving access to healthcare through innovative solutions, where precision, compliance, and stakeholder communication are paramount to operational success.
• This position offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in healthcare billing systems, insurance verification, revenue cycle processes, and regulatory compliance while building strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a remote, supportive environment.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Familiarity with insurance verification, authorization, and claims submission processes
• Proficiency in using electronic billing systems and software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance
