- • Candid Health Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Lead, a Director-level professional to spearhead our comprehensive revenue cycle operations. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and possesses a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on operational expertise. As the RCM Lead, you will be instrumental in driving enterprise-wide financial performance and fostering operational excellence across all facets of our clients' revenue cycles. Your responsibilities will encompass the critical areas of billing, denial management and prevention, reconciliation, and cultivating strong payer relationships. This is a senior leadership position that demands not only strategic oversight but also a willingness to be deeply involved in the day-to-day management of the Candid RCM team, including direct engagement with billers to ensure best practices and optimal outcomes.
- • You will be tasked with owning and executing cross-functional initiatives aimed at optimizing revenue cycle workflows, enhancing data transparency, and building the infrastructure necessary to support scalable growth. This role is crucial for aligning our RCM operations with Candid Health’s evolving business needs and strategic objectives. Furthermore, you will serve as a key external representative for Candid Health, engaging with customers, partners, and payers, while also acting as an internal mentor and leader, fostering a culture of high performance within your teams.
- • Your core responsibilities will include the recruitment, management, and leadership of high-performing onshore and offshore teams. These teams are the engine of our revenue cycle operations, responsible for delivering exceptional results in billing, EDI, denial management, and payment posting for Candid’s diverse portfolio of customers. You will be expected to drive key RCM Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and achieve critical outcomes by diving deep into claim-level and claim-cohort issues, working collaboratively alongside Billers and Billing Leads. This position requires a significant degree of operational and tactical execution, ensuring that our processes are not only efficient but also effective.
- • A significant part of your role will involve building and scaling the RCM department. This will be achieved through the creation and refinement of robust playbooks, the standardization of processes, and the development of comprehensive data management frameworks. You will oversee customer portfolios, dynamically adjusting resourcing and priorities to guarantee the delivery of high-quality service. Continuous monitoring of key metrics will be essential for adapting resourcing and priorities, ensuring that our team's capacity effectively aligns with fluctuating demand and the onboarding of new customers.
- • As the primary point of contact for complex customer issues, you will provide expert consultation and implement decisive resolutions. This will be done in close partnership with our Customer Strategy & Operations team, ensuring that client trust is maintained and strengthened. You will also collaborate closely with Customer Support and Customer Strategy & Operations teams to identify systemic customer issues and implement proactive, long-term solutions that address root causes rather than just symptoms.
- • You will set the strategic direction for scaling the scope of operations for the growing RCM team, anticipating future needs and developing plans to meet them. This includes staying abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that impact revenue cycle management. Your leadership will be critical in shaping the future of RCM at Candid Health, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry. 🎯 Requirements
- • 8-12+ years of medical billing experience, including at least 2-3 years of experience building and leading large, high-performing teams to deliver key business outcomes in complex, dynamic environments.
- • Strong track record of driving revenue outcomes and efficiencies for RCM functions, with a proactive, technology-driven approach to denial prevention.
- • Proven ability to roll up your sleeves and engage at an operational and tactical level to drive results alongside your team.
- • Wide range of experience across multiple specialties, multi-state billing, and telehealth billing, with a comprehensive understanding of the revenue cycle (EDI Enrollments, Payment Posting and Reconciliation, Denial Resolution and Management).
- • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply, both verbally and in writing, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executive customer stakeholders.
