- • We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Reward Program Manager to join our dynamic team at Monzo Referrals Inc. on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives on ensuring the flawless execution of reward programs, building scalable infrastructure, and upholding clear governance. As Monzo continues its rapid growth, it's essential that our reward framework not only keeps pace but also reflects our ambitious trajectory. This is a high-impact position with end-to-end ownership of our core reward programs, demanding a strategic mindset coupled with exceptional delivery capabilities.
- • In this critical delivery role, you will be instrumental in managing complexity and fostering clarity and accountability across the entire organization. Your primary focus will be on the successful execution and management of key annual reward initiatives. This includes taking full ownership of the Annual Review Cycle, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently, and contributes positively to employee development and recognition. You will also lead the Global Benchmarking process, gathering and analyzing market data to ensure our compensation remains competitive and fair. Furthermore, you will play a key part in the implementation of our Job Architecture, a foundational element for career progression and organizational clarity.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve extensive stakeholder management. You will need to be adept at communicating complex compensation concepts and proposed changes to a diverse audience, including managers at all levels and senior leadership. Proactive expectation management and clear, consistent communication will be paramount. You will serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for both external partners, such as data providers and consultants, and internal stakeholders across various departments. Building strong relationships and fostering collaboration will be key to your success.
- • Equally important is your ability to design and execute comprehensive communication and change management strategies. You will be responsible for clearly articulating complex reward principles, policies, and any upcoming changes to all employees, ensuring understanding and buy-in across the business. Acting as the key liaison between the Reward team and the wider People Collective, you will ensure that reward initiatives are well-understood and integrated into the broader employee experience. Your efforts will help demystify compensation and highlight its strategic importance.
- • Ensuring compliance and consistency across all reward programs is a core responsibility. You will establish and maintain robust governance models that underpin our compensation practices. This involves ensuring internal equity, market competitiveness, and adherence to all relevant external regulations and legal requirements. Your diligence in this area will safeguard the integrity of our reward systems and build trust among employees. You will be responsible for developing and refining processes that promote fairness and transparency in all reward-related decisions.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and challenges within reward programs and developing mitigation strategies. - • Proven experience in designing, managing, and delivering end-to-end Reward programs, specifically including Annual Review Cycles, Global Benchmarking, and Job Architecture implementation, within a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- • Demonstrated expertise in leading complex, cross-functional Reward projects, with a strong emphasis on project governance, milestone tracking, and ensuring flawless execution from initiation to completion.
- • Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with a track record of successfully implementing structure, driving accountability, and managing multiple priorities across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to simplify complex compensation data, policies, and principles for a wide range of audiences, from entry-level employees to senior leadership.
- • Experience in coordinating effectively with external partners, such as compensation data providers and HR consultants, and translating their input into actionable internal delivery plans and strategies.
