  • • As a Risk Advisor - Commercial Lines at Relation Insurance Services, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and expanding service lines within assigned commercial accounts, directly contributing to the company’s market leadership and revenue objectives through consultative sales expertise and strategic client relationships.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include achieving annual new revenue targets by identifying and closing new insurance opportunities, developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline with a 5X coverage ratio, documenting all activities in the company’s sales tracking system, assessing client risk exposures, recommending tailored insurance solutions, and seamlessly transitioning sold accounts to service teams while serving as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers.
  • • You will operate within a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative team culture at Relation Insurance, a market-leading provider known for its commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and investment in employee growth, where your contributions are valued and aligned with the company’s long-term success.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in commercial property and casualty insurance, refine advanced consultative selling and negotiation skills, build a profitable book of business, and gain exposure to industry thought leadership opportunities through associations, speaking engagements, and market intelligence sharing with leadership.
  • • You will also strengthen your ability to manage complex sales cycles, prioritize multiple high-stakes tasks in a fast-paced environment, leverage CRM and Microsoft Office tools effectively, and grow your professional network through client referrals, referral campaigns, and cross-functional collaboration with loss control and claims advocacy teams.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Property and Casualty Insurance License is required and must be maintained.
  • • College degree or minimum 2 years’ sales experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • • Experience working with complex commercial coverage.
  • • Strong negotiator, avid problem solver and works well with different personalities to ensure sale.
  • • In depth understanding of insurance markets, products and usages is necessary, as well as insurance rating and underwriting procedures.
  • • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills are required to explain complex coverages, receive and interpret information and respond appropriately.
  • • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
  • • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
