📋 Description

• As a Risk Analyst at Patriot Software, you will play a key role in protecting customers and the company from fraud by reviewing direct deposit applications, investigating suspicious activity, and verifying documentation to ensure authenticity and compliance.
• Day to day, you will review new payroll direct deposit applications for fraud risk, investigate risk triggers, monitor suspicious accounts, examine bank statements and government-issued photo IDs, document fraud cases, assist with audits, act as a subject matter expert for development teams, and review OFAC matches to ensure regulatory compliance.

• In this role, you will develop expertise in fraud detection, BSA/AML compliance, and risk mitigation within the fintech/payments industry, while building strong investigative, documentation, and collaboration skills that support career growth in risk management and financial security.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in risk management, underwriting, or fraud prevention (preferably within the fintech or payments industry)
• Strong research and investigative skills with a sharp eye for detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and best practices
• Ability to handle sensitive customer information securely and adhere to data protection protocols
