- • Risk Analyst, Global Resilience / Business Continuity role at WEX Inc. focused on analyzing and identifying areas of risk to ensure robust business continuity in a fast-moving Fintech environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading Business Impact Analysis (BIA) interviews, developing and maintaining recovery plans, facilitating workshops and training sessions, partnering with technology teams on IT disaster recovery testing, designing and executing tabletop exercises, and maintaining knowledge of global regulatory frameworks such as DORA, OpRes, and FDIC requirements.
- • The Global Resilience team at WEX Inc. supports operational resilience across business units and technology groups, ensuring continuity and compliance in a dynamic financial services landscape.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in global resilience standards, enhance leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, gain hands-on experience with business continuity planning tools, and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen organizational resilience against disruptions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years of relevant experience; Certification in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) or equivalent is required.
- • Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements including DORA, OpRes, FDIC, HIPAA, HiTrust, NIST, and ISO standards for operational resilience and business continuity.
- • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and experience with cloud-based tools such as BCIC and Everbridge.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build relationships and deliver high-quality presentations to senior leadership.
- • Skilled in utilizing AI platforms like Gemini and Notebook LM to enhance operational productivity and process optimization.
- • Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, adapt to fast-paced environments, and demonstrate proactive decision-making and ownership.
