📋 Description

• • As a Risk Operations Lead in Financial Crimes Programs at Stripe, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of the financial ecosystem by identifying and mitigating risks related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activities. Your work directly supports Stripe’s mission to increase the GDP of the internet safely and responsibly by ensuring that bad actors cannot exploit the platform.
• • Day to day, you will analyze financial crime risks using data-driven methods, conduct reviews for suspicious activity, and monitor emerging trends. You will design and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, control, and compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align policies with the needs of financial partners and internal stakeholders.
• • You will join Stripe’s Financial Crimes team, a mission-driven group dedicated to maintaining trust in Stripe’s platform by preventing prohibited parties from abusing its services. As Stripe scales globally, this team is essential for upholding regulatory compliance and managing risk in complex, high-volume environments.
