📋 Description
- • Create, monitor, and distribute detailed reports on fraud performance and statistics using Excel, PowerPoint, and machine learning tools.
- • Analyze and interpret fraud data to identify risk exposure trends and recommend mitigation strategies.
- • Collect and validate data from multiple internal sources to ensure report accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- • Mirror global fraud mitigation rules across the financial institution consortium to maintain consistent risk controls.
- • Monitor and respond to spikes in potential fraud using tools including Orion, Fraud Detection Work Center, and Member Insight.
- • Maintain and update fraud mitigation tool files to ensure proper analysis capabilities and system access.
- • Review and classify incoming emails and service requests to ensure timely resolution and SLA adherence.
- • Support operational workflows by testing and validating fraud prevention procedures for effectiveness and compliance.
- • Manage compromise card events on behalf of Velera member-owners, coordinating response actions across teams.
- • Monitor Rownet reject reports to proactively protect debit and credit cards from fraudulent activity.
- • Develop professional presentations and reports for internal fraud meetings and member-owner training sessions.
- • Maintain the call schedule for all planned Risk Prevention team meetings and ensure alignment with business needs.
- • Provide operational support for existing fraud prevention processes and assist with business operations as required.
- • Communicate professionally with financial institutions regarding identified fraud and propose new fraud mitigation channels.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and all levels of management to align fraud prevention initiatives with broader business goals.
- • Stay current on industry fraud trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks in financial services.
- • Self-direct daily priorities to meet critical deadlines while managing multiple concurrent responsibilities.
- • Work occasional weekends and holidays to support urgent fraud prevention initiatives, disaster preparedness, or operational backlogs.
- • Ensure all tasks meet departmental standards for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
- • Facilitate effective communication between the Risk Prevention team and internal business units to enhance member-owner risk detection.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of education and experience
- • Two (2) years of professional experience in the financial services industry
- • Two (2) years of professional experience in risk analytics, mitigating risk, and/or fraud services
- • Experience with Defense Edge, Falcon, Fraud Detection Work Center, and/or FDR systems
