Risk Strategist, Onboarding and Compliance

📋 Description

• • As a Risk Strategist in Onboarding and Compliance at Stripe, you will play a critical role in enabling safe and responsible product launches by building risk management and compliance foundations for Financial Account, Capital, and Issuing products, directly supporting Stripe’s mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
• • You will partner with Product, Engineering, and 2LOD teams to design data-driven KYC/KYB frameworks, create scalable funds flow models for global payment networks (SEPA, FPS, ACH, RTP), and translate complex regulatory requirements into technical guidance for engineering teams.
• • The Onboarding and Compliance Risk Strategy team operates at the intersection of financial services and technology, collaborating with Legal, Customer Support, Partnerships, and external financial partners to ensure compliance while enabling innovation and global expansion.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in financial regulations and payment systems, lead cross-functional initiatives, and develop strategic risk solutions that scale across new regions and products, positioning you as a trusted advisor in Stripe’s next-generation financial stack.
