  • • As an RMA Technical Specialist at Vultr, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of high-performance cloud infrastructure by managing the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process for emerging technologies, directly impacting service uptime and customer satisfaction for hundreds of thousands of global users.
  • • You will leverage your system administrator-level troubleshooting expertise to diagnose and validate hardware faults—particularly with NVIDIA and AMD GPUs—while coordinating with hardware vendors, managing technical data exchange, scheduling on-site support, and certifying repaired systems before reintegration into production environments.
  • • Working within Vultr’s fast-growing, innovative cloud infrastructure team, you will collaborate across engineering and operations to improve RMA workflows, develop evolving documentation for new technologies, and utilize JIRA, Confluence, and vendor portals to drive resolution of novel technical issues in a high-visibility, impact-driven role.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing GPU/CPU troubleshooting and fault validation, interacting with hardware vendors to initiate and track RMAs, exchanging logs and technical data with vendors, scheduling on-site support for hardware replacement, validating software and firmware versions, certifying system repair before re-insertion into service, and creating trouble reports in external vendor portals.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Previous RMA experience in a data center or technology environment
  • • Hands-on experience troubleshooting NVIDIA and AMD GPUs in enterprise systems
  • • Experience with microcloud technologies and data center operations
  • • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and vendor portals for issue tracking and documentation
  • • Strong system administrator-level troubleshooting skills with ability to adapt to emerging technologies
