📋 Description

  • RN Clinical Consultation role focused on triaging calls to assess needs, provide care advice, and facilitate appropriate level of care treatment while promoting cost-effective outcomes and safe return to work.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) during call triage, identifying caller needs, evaluating alternative treatments, using defined triage protocols, entering data into computer systems, identifying life-threatening emergencies, referring physician-requiring issues, and serving as a resource to team members.
