📋 Description
- • As a ROC (Remote Operations Centre) Coordinator at Boskalis Subsea Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and safe execution of remote operations. Your primary responsibility will be the meticulous management, vigilant monitoring, and effective coordination of personnel utilization within the Remote Operations Centre (ROC). This role is crucial for maintaining operational continuity and efficiency by ensuring that the right personnel are in the right place at the right time.
- • You will be the central point of contact for managing our pool of ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) and ROC personnel. This involves actively assessing current needs against future demands, ensuring the team is appropriately sized to support all Boskalis worksites and operational activities. Your proactive approach will prevent potential staffing shortages and optimize resource allocation.
- • A key function of this role is to maintain real-time updates of all ROV and ROC personnel movements within our offshore people system. This includes accurately recording and processing man-day information, which is vital for precise cost tracking, client recovery, and internal reporting. Your diligence in this area directly impacts financial accuracy and operational oversight.
- • You will work in close collaboration with the Offshore Personnel Operations (OPO) department and the ROV Crewing Lead. Together, you will ensure that offshore ROV and ROC personnel are scheduled and managed in alignment with established crew change schedules, minimizing disruption and maximizing operational uptime.
- • This position requires you to provide essential support to the ROC Supervisor in the daily coordination of workforce allocation. You will assist in making critical decisions regarding personnel deployment, ensuring that operational requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
- • Clear and timely communication is paramount. You will be responsible for communicating personnel status changes, including mobilizations, demobilizations, and any unexpected changes, to all relevant stakeholders. This includes project managers, crewing teams, logistics personnel, and offshore crews, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
- • You will actively liaise with the crewing and logistics departments to forecast upcoming personnel needs. This involves anticipating future project requirements, identifying potential staffing gaps, and updating deployment plans accordingly. Your foresight will contribute to proactive resource planning and risk mitigation.
- • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records and logs is a fundamental aspect of this role. You will adhere strictly to ROC processes and company procedures, ensuring that all documentation related to personnel movements, schedules, and status is meticulously kept up-to-date and readily accessible.
- • Beyond core coordination duties, you will also assist in routine ROC operational support tasks as directed by the ROC Supervisor. This may include administrative duties, data entry, or other support functions that contribute to the overall smooth running of the Remote Operations Centre.
- • By effectively managing personnel, you will directly contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of complex subsea projects. Your role ensures that our highly skilled teams are deployed optimally, allowing Boskalis to maintain its reputation for excellence in the offshore energy sector.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of offshore operations and personnel management within a leading maritime services company. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team, contributing to high-stakes projects that shape the future of subsea exploration and development.
- • You will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies, upholding Boskalis' commitment to NINA (No Injuries, No Incidents, No Delays) values. Your attention to detail and adherence to procedures will safeguard both personnel and operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Previous personnel coordination or administration experience, preferably within a fast-paced energy sector environment.
- • Academic qualification in Administration (HNC/HND) is desirable.
