- • The RSS Specialty Product Manager II role at Ray Savings Solutions, LLC (a MedImpact Healthcare Systems company) is pivotal in driving innovation and value in the healthcare industry by managing the full lifecycle of specialty pharmaceutical products and services—from concept to retirement—ensuring alignment with business strategy, customer needs, and operational excellence.
- • This role directly contributes to improving healthcare outcomes and cost efficiency by translating business strategy into actionable product roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, and championing product adoption through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include researching specialty market trends to maintain competitive positioning; managing end-to-end product development using defined processes; serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned products; collaborating with stakeholders, end-users, and business analysts to define requirements and workflows; coordinating user acceptance testing; creating training and sales materials; delivering product demonstrations; and acting as a product steward ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.
- • The role involves defining and managing success metrics, mentoring junior product managers, and exercising significant autonomy in decision-making based on demonstrated performance, with supervision ranging from moderate to independent.

🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination, with at least 4 years of subject matter expertise in specialty pharmacy or related healthcare domains.
- • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook) for document creation, scheduling, and data analysis; advanced proficiency in MedImpact systems including MedAccess, MedOptimize, and Salesforce.
- • Required technical skills: SQL query development, experience with Golden32 or equivalent database browsing tools, and Excel macro programming.
- • Preferred qualifications: Registered Pharmacy Technician licensure and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- • Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and apply mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions) to real-world scenarios.
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing interactions, including managing difficult situations, soliciting feedback, and presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
