This executive role is central to developing and managing strategic relationships with healthcare providers across the state, ensuring comprehensive network coverage and driving Humana's growth and success in the Medicare and Medicaid segments.
  • • You will be accountable for shaping and executing contracting strategies that not only meet regulatory requirements but also align with Humana's overarching strategic goals. This involves identifying, negotiating, and finalizing agreements with hospitals, health systems, and a diverse range of ancillary service providers, including but not limited to, durable medical equipment suppliers, home health agencies, diagnostic imaging centers, and behavioral health providers.

  • • You will provide strong leadership to the regional partner engagement, contracting, and operations teams. This includes setting clear vision and goals, developing talent, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring that regional operations are seamlessly aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • • Leveraging talent and resources effectively, you will champion a collaborative and integrated work environment. This involves leading initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, developing the skills and capabilities of your team, and effectively managing change within the organization.

This position demands a high level of strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to influence and drive results in a complex and dynamic healthcare landscape.
  • • Your expertise in analyzing the financial viability of complex facility and ancillary contracts will be essential in making informed decisions and ensuring the long-term sustainability of Humana's provider networks.
  • • This role requires a proactive and forward-thinking approach, anticipating market trends and adapting strategies to maintain Humana's competitive edge and commitment to delivering exceptional value to its members and stakeholders.
  • • You will be expected to travel approximately 20% of the time within the state of Florida to build and maintain strong relationships with key providers and understand local market dynamics firsthand.
