  • • As a Senior Sales Leader for the Enterprise organization in the bustling Metro NYC region, you will be instrumental in driving the sales of SailPoint's leading Identity Security solutions. This pivotal role involves direct management of a strategic sales team and matrix leadership of associated support functions, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing sales engine.
  • • You will lead a team of dedicated sales professionals who engage directly with end-users, while also expertly leveraging the support of influential channel partners to expand the reach and impact of our market-leading Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Solution Suite. This suite, primarily delivered as a SaaS offering, is fundamental to an organization's enterprise security posture, making your role critical in protecting our clients.
  • • Success in this position hinges on a proven track record of leading sales teams within high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity organizations. Experience guiding sales teams through transitions from on-premise solutions to SaaS models is highly desirable. You will be expected to instill structure and rigor across all facets of the sales process, including meticulous pipeline management and accurate forecasting, while simultaneously serving as an inspirational and motivating leader for your team.
  • • Your initial months will be focused on deep immersion and strategic planning. Within the first month, you will engage in comprehensive onboarding, critically evaluating the existing People, Process, Cadence, and Structure within your reporting lines. You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition to address immediate hiring needs and develop a pipeline for future requisitions. Building strong relationships with key internal leadership and peer groups will be essential, as will a thorough understanding of SailPoint's products, success stories, and unique value proposition. Passing the "1st Mate" enablement badge signifies your foundational understanding.
  • • By the second month, your focus will broaden to encompass the non-direct support structure, as well as a detailed evaluation of your install base, target customers, and channel partners. You will begin engaging directly with customers and partners, assessing the quality of the sales pipeline and forecasting processes, and identifying immediate and long-term opportunities for enhancement.
  • • The third month marks the development of a comprehensive 12-month business plan, outlining key milestones, primary actions, and required resources to achieve regional goals. This plan will be presented to your manager and the region-specific Leadership Team. You will also identify initial hiring targets and confirm start dates, and collaborate with marketing and partner teams to pinpoint white-space opportunities, new logo prospects, and identify potential customers with critical compliance, governance, or business drivers necessitating an IGA solution. Achieving the "Sailing Master" and "Quarter Master" enablement badges will demonstrate your growing expertise.
  • • By the six-month mark, you will have developed a forward-looking 3-year plan for your business, with refined People, Process, Cadence, and Structure adjustments to support this strategic vision. You will be able to demonstrate tangible improvements in process and results across these key areas. Earning the "Captain" enablement badge will signify your mastery of the role.
  • • By the end of your first year, you will be on track with your established plans, having built a robust foundation for sustained growth. You will refine your three-year plan based on your current position and reassess and enhance all aspects of your team and processes to ensure continued alignment with overarching goals. Maintaining rigor in forecasting and collaborating with marketing and partners to identify strategic opportunities will be ongoing priorities. Ensuring your pipeline is consistently three times your quota will be a key performance indicator.
