Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Own and grow a portfolio of public-sector accounts across central and local government, NHS trusts, emergency services, and educational bodies, driving revenue from £50k–£2 m deals while ensuring every interaction reinforces Necsws’ reputation as the UK’s most trusted technology partner to government.
- • Build multi-layered relationships with procurement officers, CIOs, programme directors, and end-users; map decision-making units, political cycles, and budget holders so you can time proposals perfectly and secure long-term frameworks rather than one-off purchases.
- • Translate complex technical road-maps into clear business outcomes—cost reduction, citizen-service improvement, regulatory compliance—then craft tailored proposals, SOWs, and commercial models (CAPEX, OPEX, subscription, or hybrid) that align with Treasury Green Book and GDS standards.
- • Lead virtual and on-site discovery workshops, security briefings, and product demos, coordinating presales architects, bid writers, and finance teams to deliver compliant bids within tight OJEU or CCS deadlines; maintain a 90 %+ on-time submission record and a win-rate above 35 %.
- • Use Salesforce and PowerBI to track pipeline health, forecast accurately, and surface early warning signs; run weekly pipeline reviews with leadership and quarterly QBRs with clients to identify whitespace, renewal risks, and upsell paths worth £5 m+ over three years.
- • Champion the voice of the public sector internally—feed market insight, policy changes, and competitive intelligence into product management so Necsws can pre-empt tenders and shape frameworks rather than simply respond to them.
- • Mentor two junior account executives, sharing proven techniques for stakeholder mapping, objection handling, and bid storytelling; set quarterly OKRs that lift their average deal size by 25 % within twelve months.
- • Ensure every contract meets strict security, accessibility, and social-value criteria; partner with compliance and legal to shepherd deals through HMG SPF, Cyber Essentials Plus, and DSPT assessments without delays.
- • Represent Necsws at GovTech conferences, Local Government Association events, and CCS supplier days, delivering thought-leadership sessions that position the company as an innovator in cloud, data, and AI for the public good.
- • Live our values—Integrity, Curiosity, Tenacity—by proactively flagging potential conflicts of interest, sharing lessons learned across teams, and never settling for ‘good enough’ when citizens deserve exceptional digital services.
