- • As a Sales Compensation Specialist at GoTo, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate administration and operational support of incentive compensation programs for assigned sales roles, directly impacting sales team motivation, performance, and trust in compensation processes.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing plan setup, eligibility, role mapping, and ongoing maintenance for non-commission compensation programs; serving as the primary point of contact for compensation inquiries; supporting BDR compensation ownership; partnering with Finance and RevOps during planning cycles; delivering reporting and operational insights; and driving process improvements through documentation, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- • You will work within GoTo’s Sales organization, which connects businesses and people with technology solutions that simplify daily life, leveraging innovation and practical AI to enhance customer outcomes and partner success. - • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in sales compensation operations, strengthen your cross-functional partnership skills with Finance, HR, and RevOps, and gain experience in process optimization, audit readiness, and stakeholder communication—positioning you for advancement in compensation, operations, or sales enablement careers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in sales compensation with hands-on responsibility supporting compensation processes in a complex sales environment.
- • Proven experience administering incentive compensation programs end to end, including interpreting plan rules, managing operational processes, validating inputs and outputs, and ensuring accurate execution across multiple sales roles or segments.
- • Strong operational rigor and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high-volume, detail-sensitive processes, identify discrepancies, and maintain accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
- • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain compensation concepts, calculations, policies, and outcomes to a range of stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, and Operations partners.
- • Demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally, effectively managing competing priorities, building strong partnerships across teams, and driving work forward with minimal oversight.
