  • • Collaborate with Account Management to sell non-core Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) products and services to existing and prospective clients.
  • • Develop and execute strategic sales plans including territory planning, pre-RFP prospecting, relationship development, pricing strategies, presentations, and delivery tactics.
  • • Work closely with Product and Marketing teams to create customized proposals, marketing collateral, and campaigns tailored to client needs and market demands.
  • • Organize and conduct sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations; attend finalist meetings as required to support deal closures.
  • • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all MedImpact’s offerings and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Account Management on non-core PBM products and services.
  • • Routinely update Salesforce with accurate client information, pipeline activity, and upselling progress to ensure effective sales tracking and forecasting.
  • • Support the account team in securing new business and upselling opportunities by contributing to RFP responses, pricing analysis, and client contracting processes.
  • • Provide market intelligence and analysis to Marketing by identifying client-specific needs, competitive trends, and industry shifts.
  • • Build and sustain strong business relationships with prospects and clients to drive growth, profitability, and long-term engagement.
  • • Uphold and promote the MedImpact brand positively within the healthcare industry through professional conduct and client interactions.
  • • Exercise leadership in developing tailored solutions for upselling, demonstrating purposeful planning and collaborative engagement with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • • Manage difficult or emotional client situations with professionalism, respond promptly to client needs, solicit feedback to improve service, and meet all client commitments.
  • • Apply strong business acumen by aligning sales strategies with organizational goals, understanding market dynamics, and recognizing the financial implications of decisions.
  • • Demonstrate strategic thinking by analyzing market conditions, identifying external threats and opportunities, and adapting approaches to changing business environments.
  • • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to gather and analyze information, develop alternative solutions, and resolve issues in a timely manner, even when dealing with complex or emotional topics.
  • • Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills to present information effectively to managers, clients, and internal teams, and to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • • Perform all duties with a high degree of composure, organizational agility, customer focus, drive for results, and ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • • Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed to meet business demands and deliverables.
  • • Travel domestically up to 50% of the time to support client engagements, meetings, and sales activities.
