  • This role is specifically designed for individuals with a strong technical aptitude and a deep understanding of the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and U.S. Air Force (USAF) mission environments. As a Sales Deployment Engineer, you will be the technical cornerstone of customer engagements, proposals, and industry representation, playing a pivotal role in accelerating Vantor's growth within these critical accounts.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to act as a technical subject matter expert, bridging the gap between complex mission needs and Vantor's cutting-edge technical capabilities. This involves meticulously translating customer requirements into actionable insights, identifying critical capability gaps, and strategically aligning Vantor's products and solutions to address pressing operational challenges.
  • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Business Development, to architect and deliver compelling technical solutions that not only meet but exceed customer expectations, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and ensuring successful deal conversions.
  • The core of this position revolves around pre-sales technical engagement. You will be instrumental in conducting product demonstrations, facilitating solution workshops, and performing technical validations to showcase the immense value Vantor brings to its clients. While direct integration support will be provided by dedicated engineering teams, your expertise will guide these efforts.
  • As a trusted technical advisor to USSF and USAF customers, you will translate their unique mission needs into innovative, mission-ready solutions that leverage Vantor's advanced products and capabilities. This requires a deep understanding of military operational contexts and the ability to articulate how Vantor's technology can provide a decisive advantage.
  • You will be a key liaison between the customer and Vantor's internal teams. This involves partnering with Product, Engineering, and Account Leads to ensure a seamless alignment between customer requirements and Vantor's existing capabilities and future product roadmaps. Your insights will be crucial in shaping the direction of our offerings.
  • A significant part of your role will involve translating complex customer requirements into clear, actionable product feature requests. You will actively participate in decomposition, scoping, and prioritization discussions with the Product teams, ensuring that customer needs directly influence product development.
  • You will lead and support critical technical discussions, conduct in-depth solution workshops, deliver persuasive product demonstrations, and perform thorough technology validations. These activities are designed to vividly showcase Vantor’s unique value proposition and technical prowess.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high levels of customer technical satisfaction throughout the entire pre-sales engagement process is paramount. Your ability to build rapport and trust with technical stakeholders will be a key differentiator.
  • You will be a vital conduit for customer and market feedback, channeling these insights back to inform product development strategies, refine competitive positioning, and enhance proposal strategies. Your understanding of the user's perspective is invaluable.
  • You will represent Vantor as a recognized technical subject matter expert in all customer engagements. Furthermore, you will actively participate in relevant Air Force and Space Force industry forums, establishing Vantor as a thought leader in the space.
  • You will provide essential technical contributions to business development initiatives. This includes crafting compelling technical white papers, developing robust RFP responses, and formulating strategic solutions for USSF/USAF opportunities.
  • A keen awareness of the competitive landscape is essential. You will ensure that Vantor's solutions are effectively positioned against competitors, highlighting our unique advantages across various customer missions and operational use cases.
  • This role offers a unique compensation structure, comprising 80% base salary and a 20% Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), rewarding your direct contributions to sales success.
