- • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) supporting Large Enterprise, Verticals, and Strategic Accounts across AMER (North America)
- • Drive high-quality enterprise pipeline generation through outbound prospecting, inbound qualification, account-based marketing (ABM), and product-led signals
- • Establish and enforce operational rigor around key metrics including activity volume, conversion rates, pipeline quality, and execution consistency
- • Partner directly with Account Directors and enterprise sales leadership to align on territory planning, account prioritization, and opportunity development strategies
- • Define and scale scalable SDR playbooks for outbound, inbound, ABM, partner-sourced, and product-led motion workflows
- • Coach SDRs on executive-level communication, discovery techniques, in-depth account research, and strategic prospecting methods
- • Build and sustain a high-performance, collaborative, and low-ego team culture centered on continuous improvement and accountability
- • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, Solutions Engineering, and Strategy & Operations to optimize pipeline generation and alignment
- • Support end-to-end hiring, onboarding, and ramping processes for new SDR talent as the organization scales
- • Collect and synthesize market feedback and customer insights from SDR interactions to inform broader Go-To-Market strategy and product positioning
- • Translate technical curiosity and developer-led interest into executive-level enterprise conversations that drive adoption of OpenAI’s AI platform
- • Contribute to shaping the future of OpenAI’s enterprise growth engine by defining how prospects are engaged and converted into durable enterprise deployments
- • Ensure all SDR activities align with OpenAI’s mission to safely deploy AI technologies that benefit all of humanity
- • Maintain strict adherence to data security, confidentiality, and compliance obligations related to handling proprietary and non-public information
- • Represent OpenAI with professionalism when engaging with highly regulated industries including Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Retail
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or Go-To-Market roles
- • Proven experience managing SDR or business development teams in enterprise SaaS or platform businesses
- • Strong understanding of enterprise prospecting, pipeline generation, and outbound sales strategy
- • Highly operational and data-driven with experience managing metrics, conversion funnels, and forecasting
- • Experience partnering closely with Enterprise Sales teams on strategic account development
- • Exceptional coaching skills with a track record of developing early-career talent into high-performing sales professionals
