Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Serve as one of the first points of contact for clinicians engaging with Heidi, acting as the critical bridge between inbound interest and the Account Executive team by qualifying leads and booking discovery calls
  • • Conduct outbound prospecting across clinic networks, GP practices, and health systems to identify and cultivate qualified opportunities for the sales team
  • • Execute multi-channel outbound sequences using email, phone, and LinkedIn, continuously testing messaging, analyzing responses, and iterating to improve conversion rates with clinical audiences
  • • Qualify inbound leads by asking targeted questions to understand clinicians’ workflows, pain points, and decision-making processes before handing off to Account Executives
  • • Book high-quality discovery and demo calls by conducting thorough research on each prospect, ensuring clinicians feel understood and valued before the first conversation
  • • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene by accurately logging all activities, interactions, and pipeline updates so data remains actionable and trusted by the sales and marketing teams
  • • Collaborate closely with marketing and Account Executives to provide real-time market feedback on clinician objections, messaging resonance, and emerging trends in healthcare adoption
  • • Adapt outreach strategies based on daily feedback and performance metrics, demonstrating agility and learning agility in a fast-moving startup environment
  • • Build and sustain a pipeline that Account Executives are eager to inherit, ensuring each opportunity is well-researched, properly qualified, and aligned with clinical realities
  • • Engage with healthcare professionals in a credible, empathetic, and informed manner by quickly learning the landscape of clinical workflows, health system structures, and clinician priorities
  • • Operate without a fully mapped playbook, embracing the ambiguity and rapid iteration typical of early-stage startups, while maintaining discipline in execution
  • • Contribute to the team’s collective success by sharing insights, refining processes, and supporting peer learning in a collaborative, merit-driven culture
  • • Uphold Heidi’s values of trust, reliability, and shared ownership by ensuring all interactions with clinicians reflect the company’s commitment to human-centered care
  • • Leverage feedback loops to refine messaging, sequencing, and targeting strategies based on actual responses from healthcare professionals across Australia, the US, UK, Canada, and Europe
  • • Maintain a high standard of professional communication in both written and verbal outreach, ensuring every message reads authentic and personable, not templated or robotic
  • • Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning about clinical environments, regulatory contexts, and digital health adoption patterns to speak credibly with clinicians and practice managers
  • • Contribute to scaling Heidi’s global sales motion by helping to replicate successful outreach patterns across international markets while respecting regional differences in healthcare delivery
  • • Take ownership of your performance metrics and pipeline outcomes, driving accountability without relying on micromanagement or rigid processes
  • • Grow within the organization by demonstrating rapid learning, consistent performance, and alignment with Heidi’s mission — with a clear path from SDR to Account Executive for high performers

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1+ year in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound sales role — you know what a sequence is and you’ve run one
  • • Comfortable making cold calls without needing a week to psych yourself up for it
  • • Clear, concise written communication — your outreach emails read like a person wrote them, not a template
  • • Enough curiosity about healthcare to learn the landscape fast and talk credibly with clinicians and practice staff
  • • CRM hygiene that you actually maintain, not just clean up before a pipeline review
  • • A genuine interest in early-stage startup pace — you’re not looking for a fully mapped playbook

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Flexible hybrid working, with 3 days in the office
  • • Monthly $150 AUD benefit to invest in your physical and mental wellbeing
  • • Recharge Days after major milestones and busy periods
  • • A generous personal development budget of $1000 AUD per annum
  • • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win
  • • A one-time home office setup contribution
