  • • Own the first impression: You’ll be the first human voice most prospects hear from Guusto. Within minutes of a form-fill or demo request, you’ll craft a personalized, research-backed reply that shows we “get” their culture challenge and sets the tone for an exceptional buying experience.
  • • Run a disciplined, high-velocity pipeline: Every day you’ll juggle 60–80 active HubSpot records—prioritizing by fit, intent signals, and deal size—while keeping SLAs of <5 min on hot inbound and <24 h on warm nurture. You’ll know exactly where each dollar of pipeline sits and why.
  • • Master the art of discovery: Through 10–15 qualification calls daily you’ll uncover org charts, budget cycles, recognition pain, and competing initiatives. You’ll translate those insights into crisp MEDDPICC notes that allow AEs to pick up the conversation without missing a beat.
  • • Close small deals solo: For accounts ≤$5K ARR you’ll run the entire cycle—demo, proposal, negotiation, procurement, and e-signature—hitting a personal quota of $350K ARR in your first year while maintaining 25%+ win rates.
  • • Co-pilot complex deals: On mid-market and enterprise opportunities you’ll quarterback the first two stages (qualification & demo), then seamlessly transition to an AE with a warm hand-off doc, mutual action plan, and executive sponsor mapped.
  • • Create urgency where none exists: When prospects go quiet you’ll deploy multi-channel sequences (phone, LinkedIn, video, direct mail) that reference their Glassdoor reviews, recent layoffs, or DEI metrics to reignite the “why now.”
  • • Build bespoke demo environments: Using Guusto’s white-label tools you’ll spin up portals that mirror the prospect’s brand colors, upload their logo, preload sample rewards, and even invite a few pilot employees so the buying committee sees their future state on day one.
  • • Evangelize at virtual and in-person events: You’ll represent Guusto at HR conferences, partner roadshows (UKG, Dayforce, Paycor), and our own monthly webinars—booking 20+ qualified follow-ups per event and feeding the top of funnel.
  • • Leverage partners like a force multiplier: You’ll monitor lead queues inside UKG Marketplace and Paycor’s referral portal, tag partner reps in HubSpot, and co-host QBRs to ensure every co-sourced opportunity gets white-glove treatment.
  • • Iterate with data: Weekly you’ll analyze sequence performance, A/B test subject lines, and share insights with RevOps so our messaging evolves faster than the market. You’ll celebrate wins and dissect losses in front of the entire sales team.
  • • Champion the customer voice: You’ll funnel frontline feedback to Product and Marketing—whether it’s a missing gift-card catalog or a new integration request—ensuring the roadmap reflects real buyer pain.
  • • Live our values: “Act like an owner,” “Default to transparency,” and “Create wow” aren’t posters on the wall; they’re the behaviors you’ll model every time you jump on a call, mentor a new SDR, or volunteer for a tough project.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2–3 years of quota-carrying SaaS experience in an inbound or outbound SDR/BDR role
  • • Demonstrated ability to advance opportunities in ambiguous, low-intent situations
  • • Strong discovery and qualification skills with MEDDPICC or similar framework
  • • Confident communicator who can lead calls and demos with HR leaders and C-suite
  • • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or Salesforce; CRM hygiene is second nature
  • • Bonus: track record of closing smaller deals end-to-end OR experience hosting webinars and partner events
