  • • As a Sales Development Representative at Kustomer, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers for the AI-native conversational CRM platform, directly supporting the sales team’s efforts to expand market reach and achieve revenue goals in a high-impact, fast-growing SaaS environment.
  • • You will engage prospects through email, phone, and social channels to generate leads, schedule meetings for Account Executives, and build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring Kustomer’s value proposition is communicated clearly and effectively to decision-makers across industries.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include researching and developing target accounts, maintaining consistent and creative follow-ups with leads, collaborating with Account Executives to refine outreach strategies, and partnering with Marketing to align messaging and target the right customer segments.
  • • You will be accountable for meeting quarterly quotas related to lead development and sales contributions, using data-driven approaches to prioritize efforts and continuously improve performance in a metrics-focused culture.
  • • Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you will gain hands-on experience in full-cycle sales processes, learning how to qualify leads, handle objections, and move prospects through the sales funnel while representing Kustomer’s innovative brand in the market.
  • • You will join a passionate, collaborative team known as the 'Krew' — a remote-friendly, inclusive group of professionals dedicated to enhancing customer service experiences, with opportunities to connect in person during annual Kamp Kustomer events and periodic training sessions in the New York tri-state area.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6 months of inbound/outbound sales experience (including internships), with preference for candidates who have worked in sales or startup environments
  • • Ability to quickly engage potential customers via email, phone, and in person with clear, concise, and accurate written and verbal communication
  • • Proven experience being accountable to sales metrics, often exceeding targets, and comfort operating in a high-energy, metrics-driven team environment
  • • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and achieve objectives efficiently
  • • Grit and resilience to handle rejection constructively, coupled with a strong desire to advance your career in sales
  • • Familiarity with or enthusiasm for AI technologies and their application in sales processes
