- • As a Sales Development Representative at Momence, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers in the experience-based business sector, playing a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying leads for the sales team. Your outreach directly impacts the company’s ability to scale its platform among yoga studios, gyms, salons, spas, and similar businesses that rely on Momence for scheduling, payments, and customer engagement.
- • You will spend your days conducting high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls and personalized emails, targeting decision-makers at small to mid-sized businesses in wellness, fitness, and lifestyle industries. Using HubSpot CRM, you’ll track all sales activities, manage opportunity pipelines, and collaborate with Account Executives to hand off qualified meetings that convert into sales opportunities. Your success will be measured by the number of qualified opportunities generated from your booked meetings, with a strong emphasis on consistent daily activity and disciplined follow-up.
- • Momence is a remote-first, Y Combinator-backed company (Summer 2020) serving over 5,500 experience-based businesses across the United States. The Sales Development team operates as a collaborative, supportive unit focused on continuous learning and performance improvement, where new hires receive intensive onboarding and ongoing coaching to master the product, ideal customer profile, and effective sales techniques.
- • In this role, you will develop foundational sales expertise in outbound prospecting, objection handling, and consultative communication while gaining deep exposure to the SaaS sales cycle and the unique needs of small business owners in the wellness economy. Over time, you’ll build the skills and track record needed to advance into senior sales or account management roles within the company, with the expectation of growing into greater responsibility after approximately 12 months of strong performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of sales experience, with demonstrated success in achieving activity-based or quota-related goals
- • Capacity for high-volume phone work, including the ability to consistently make 160+ outbound dials per day using dial-assist tools
- • Excellent phone presence and a disciplined work ethic, combined with eagerness to learn and adapt to feedback
- • Empathetic, service-oriented approach to sales, emphasizing active listening, curiosity, and problem-solving when engaging prospects
