- • As a Sales Development Representative at Astronomer, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers and a key driver of sales pipeline, introducing prospects to Astro, the company’s unified DataOps platform powered by Apache Airflow, and setting up meaningful conversations for Account Executives.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include researching and engaging potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn; qualifying inbound and outbound leads based on needs, budget, and intent; partnering with sales and marketing to refine lead conversion strategies; using Salesforce, sales automation tools, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track engagement; staying current on industry trends and Astronomer’s value proposition; and owning your pipeline goals including outreach volume, meetings set, and conversion rates.
