  • • Educate prospective customers on the benefits of solar electricity and Sunrun’s solar and battery services through inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • • Qualify prospects by reviewing roof material to determine eligibility for solar installation.
  • • Handle and overcome customer objections with integrity while maintaining a high standard of call quality.
  • • Ensure prospective customers fully understand the benefits of solar energy and confirm their informed consent prior to a signed sales agreement.
  • • Set clear and reasonable expectations with prospects regarding the steps required to obtain a Sunrun solar system, from initial inquiry to installation.
  • • Manage customer inquiries via email and online chat, including proactive re-engagement with prospects who require follow-up.
  • • Operate in a high-volume call center environment with consistent performance standards and measurable outcomes.
  • • Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), email, and Google Suite to track interactions, update prospect data, and maintain accurate records.
  • • Work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and some holiday shifts to support customer outreach and availability.
  • • Deliver a customer-centric experience that aligns with Sunrun’s brand values of transparency, education, and empowerment.
  • • Drive sales progression by converting qualified leads into scheduled appointments and signed contracts through effective communication and product knowledge.
  • • Participate in ongoing training to maintain product expertise, compliance standards, and sales techniques.
  • • Contribute to a performance-based culture where success is recognized with biweekly commissions, performance incentives, and career advancement opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High School Diploma required
  • • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a call center environment
  • • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • • Proficient with email, Google Suite, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and some holiday shifts
  • • Strong work ethic and ambition to succeed
