- • The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Scale Army supports a growing U.S.-based podcast network focused on business leadership and human resources, where the individual will drive guest acquisition through scalable outbound outreach, directly contributing to content quality and network expansion by reducing reliance on founder-led prospecting.
- • This role is critical to building a repeatable, high-volume guest booking engine that ensures a steady flow of qualified HR and business leadership guests across multiple podcast shows, enabling consistent content production and audience growth.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting high-volume outbound outreach primarily via LinkedIn using InMail, connection requests, and direct messaging, supplemented by email and cold calling to engage prospects and communicate the value of podcast participation.
- • The SDR will manage the full outreach lifecycle by maintaining an organized pipeline in CRM or tracking tools like Notion, executing structured follow-ups, and tracking conversations and booking stages to prevent lead drop-off and ensure consistent progression toward confirmed bookings.
- • Targeting and personalization are key, requiring the individual to work from a defined Ideal Guest Profile focused on HR and business leadership audiences, conduct light prospect research to tailor messaging, and refine outreach strategies based on response data and performance metrics.
- • The role involves regular CRM reporting on outreach volume, response rates, and meetings booked, with an emphasis on identifying trends and opportunities to improve messaging, targeting, and overall process efficiency.
- • Collaboration with internal stakeholders is expected to align on target profiles, share feedback on messaging effectiveness, and contribute to refining outbound processes over time for greater scalability and effectiveness.
- • The SDR will gain deep experience in B2B outbound sales, guest acquisition for media platforms, and pipeline management in a remote, fast-growing environment, developing expertise in LinkedIn-based prospecting, multi-channel engagement, and data-driven outreach optimization.
- • Success in this role means consistently booking five or more qualified podcast guests per week after ramp-up, maintaining a pipeline that supports approximately fifty guest bookings monthly across shows, and demonstrating strong response and booking rates through disciplined execution and continuous improvement.
- • Over time, the individual will help reduce the founders’ direct involvement in outreach by owning and scaling a reliable, measurable outbound function that supports long-term network growth and content sustainability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4 years of experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, or outbound prospecting, with proven success in booking meetings or managing top-of-funnel pipelines.
- • Demonstrated expertise in LinkedIn outreach, including InMail, connection requests, and direct messaging, preferably using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, personalized messages and clearly articulate the value proposition of podcast participation.
- • Experience managing high-volume outreach while maintaining strong organization, disciplined follow-up habits, and attention to detail in tracking interactions and pipeline stages.
- • Familiarity with email outreach platforms, CRM systems (such as Notion or similar), and scheduling tools like Calendly to manage guest bookings and workflow efficiency.
- • Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours (9 AM–5 PM EST), manage time effectively, and thrive in a fully remote, self-directed environment.
