  • • As a Sales Development Representative at Definely, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by identifying, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities with key decision-makers in target markets, directly contributing to topline performance and market expansion.
  • • You will research and uncover new business opportunities, including untapped markets, industry verticals, partnerships, and product applications, while also discovering innovative ways to engage existing customers and feed frontline insights back to Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to inform roadmap decisions.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering tailored pitches, managing prospects through the sales pipeline using CRM tools, negotiating commercial agreements, and closing deals with senior stakeholders in B2B SaaS environments, particularly within legal and financial sectors.
  • • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and key contacts in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity for forecasting and handoff to account management or customer success teams.
  • • You will assist in developing Business Development resources and collateral, such as pitch decks, case studies, and outreach sequences, to support scalable and consistent messaging across the sales process.
  • • Representation of Definely at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs — both domestically and internationally — will be expected, requiring you to articulate the value proposition clearly and generate qualified leads through networking and thought leadership.
  • • You will screen and prioritize inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns and partnership activities, ensuring timely follow-up and alignment with ideal customer profiles to maximize conversion efficiency.
  • • Educating prospects and customers on the capabilities and benefits of Definely’s LegalTech platform will be central to your role, helping users understand how the product reduces risk, saves time, and enhances efficiency in legal document workflows.
  • • You will actively gather and relay customer feedback — including pain points, feature requests, and competitive insights — to internal teams to drive product iteration and ensure market relevance.
  • • Travel, both domestic and international, may be required to attend customer meetings, industry events, or partner engagements, offering exposure to global legal markets and cross-cultural business dynamics.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Previous experience in a business development or sales development role within a B2B SaaS environment, preferably in the legal, financial, or professional services industry.
  • • Proven ability to identify, negotiate, and close complex sales cycles with senior-level stakeholders, demonstrating strong business acumen and relationship-building skills.
  • • Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in high-performance, fast-paced team settings.
  • • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills — capable of articulating technical value clearly and confidently to audiences across all levels of seniority.
  • • Analytical rigor and comfort with data: ability to track, measure, visualize, and act on sales metrics to improve performance and inform strategy.
  • • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data.
  • • Authentic, enthusiastic, and adaptable personality — eager to learn, contribute ideas, and thrive in a collaborative, growth-focused culture.
  • • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to attend events, meet clients, and support market expansion initiatives.
