- • As a Sales Development Representative at Workato, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities across diverse territories. Your work will directly contribute to expanding Workato’s market presence by connecting with prospects in IT, Business Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Support functions, helping the company achieve its sales targets through strategic outbound engagement.
- • You will be responsible for generating and nurturing leads through cold calling, email outreach, and targeted campaigns, setting up qualified meetings for the Account Executive team, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. Daily activities include researching prospect profiles, personalizing outreach, collaborating with Marketing on go-to-market initiatives, refining territory strategies with Sales, and consulting existing customers to uncover expansion opportunities.

- • In this role, you will develop foundational sales expertise in lead generation, CRM management (Salesforce), sales engagement tools (Outreach, Zoominfo), and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll gain hands-on experience in B2B sales cycles, improve communication and negotiation skills, and build a strong foundation for advancement into Account Executive or other sales leadership roles within Workato’s high-performing sales organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- • Familiarity with business applications including Google Apps, Outreach, Zoominfo, Slack, and Salesforce (SFDC)
- • High energy, positive attitude, strong work ethic, self-direction, and resourcefulness with discipline to manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to qualification
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to clearly convey value propositions and analyze customer needs
- • Strong customer orientation, collaboration skills, adaptability to startup environments, and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
