- • The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective customers for Crown Bioscience’s pre-clinical and translational research services, directly supporting revenue generation and market expansion in the life sciences sector.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying new opportunities, responding to inbound leads, conducting discovery conversations, building targeted contact lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and SciLeads, engaging prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn, supporting event follow-up for scientific conferences, maintaining accurate Salesforce records, logging activities, and assisting with pipeline tracking and reporting.
- • The SDR works closely with Inside Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams to align outreach with territory strategy, execute marketing campaigns, and support initiatives like win-back programs and sleeping account reactivation, fostering cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- • This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in life sciences sales, refine consultative communication skills, gain hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools, and build a foundation for career progression into Inside Sales or Business Development roles within a global CRO leader.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- • Ability to learn scientific concepts and articulate value propositions clearly
- • Experience in life sciences, CRO, biotech, pharma, or research tools (preferred)
- • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms (preferred)
