- • As a Sales Development Representative at Handshake Technologies, Inc., you will serve as the critical first point of contact for prospective employer partners, directly contributing to the company’s mission of powering career discovery and hiring in the AI economy by building a qualified sales pipeline that fuels revenue growth at scale.
- • You will operate in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement are essential, balancing high-volume outreach with personalized engagement to generate and qualify opportunities that align with Handshake’s ambitious growth trajectory, including tripling ARR in 2025.
- • You will partner closely with Account Executives to refine territory plans, messaging, and deal strategy, leveraging insights from tools like Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach to optimize performance and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.

- • Day-to-day responsibilities include consistently hitting or exceeding monthly targets (with ramping quotas starting Month 2), generating and qualifying high-volume outbound opportunities through thoughtful, personalized outreach, managing and converting inbound leads with speed and professionalism, tracking all activity and insights accurately in Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach, and conducting weekly performance reflections to identify what worked, what didn’t, and how to improve.
- • You will develop advanced written communication skills by conveying context clearly and succinctly across email, LinkedIn, and other channels, while cultivating coachability, resilience, and composure when engaging senior leaders at Fortune 500 companies and leading educational institutions.
- • The role emphasizes ownership — you’ll be expected to analyze setbacks, adjust strategies, and return stronger, using concrete examples of process improvement to demonstrate your impact and commitment to continuous learning.

🎯 Requirements
- • 6–12 months of SDR experience or equivalent quota-driven experience in consulting, closing, or operations roles with proven attainment.
- • Advanced written communication skills with the ability to convey context clearly and succinctly in outreach and follow-ups.
- • Coachable, consistent, and able to manage high-volume activity without sacrificing quality, with a track record of owning results and improving processes.
