- • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused on SMB expansion in the Nordics, you will play a pivotal role in driving top-of-funnel growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Your work directly fuels Deel’s mission to unlock global opportunity by helping businesses scale smarter and more compliantly through our all-in-one payroll and HR platform.
- • You will generate new business opportunities through strategic inbound and outbound prospecting using email, phone, social channels, events, and targeted campaigns, while maintaining rigorous data hygiene in CRM and sales engagement tools to ensure accurate tracking of lead progression and pipeline contribution.
- • Your day-to-day will involve researching and qualifying prospects by uncovering their specific HR, payroll, compliance, and workforce management challenges, then crafting personalized outreach sequences that educate and nurture leads toward qualified meetings or next steps in the buyer journey.
- • You will collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities, partner with Marketing and Sales teams to refine messaging and workflows, and engage existing customers to identify cross-sell or expansion opportunities within your defined SMB segment.
- • You will consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings, Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs), and pipeline contribution, while participating in ongoing training, coaching, and skill development to sharpen your prospecting, communication, and sales acumen.
- • Operating within Deel’s high-growth, remote-first culture, you’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where initiative, autonomy, and entrepreneurial thinking are rewarded, and where your contributions directly impact the company’s trajectory toward $1B+ ARR and global workforce transformation.
- • You’ll gain deep expertise in HR tech, fintech, and global compliance landscapes, developing advanced skills in sales strategy, CRM mastery, consultative outreach, and pipeline forecasting — positioning you as a high-potential leader in the future of global work.
- • You’ll join a truly global team of 7,000+ across 100+ countries, speaking 74 languages, where diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning are not just values but daily practices — giving you unparalleled exposure to international business practices and cross-cultural collaboration.
- • This role is more than a job; it’s a career accelerator at the forefront of the SaaS revolution, where you’ll help build the infrastructure for the future of work while being recognized for your impact in a company celebrated by CNBC Disruptor 50, Forbes Cloud 100, Deloitte Fast 500, and Y Combinator’s top companies list.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in sales development, business development, or outbound commercial roles, with a proven ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline-generation targets.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach messages and engage prospects effectively across email, phone, and social channels.
- • Fully proficient in Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian — essential for engaging Nordic SMB prospects in their native language and building trust in local markets.
- • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple priorities and outreach activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
- • Comfortable working autonomously with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking initiative to source solutions and adapt quickly to evolving processes, products, or market focus.
- • Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus; familiarity with HR tech, fintech, or high-growth startup environments is beneficial but not required.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Stock grant opportunities tied to role, employment status, and location, allowing you to share in Deel’s success as a $17.3B-valued company with $1B+ ARR.
- • Fully remote work flexibility, including optional access to WeWork spaces, enabling you to work from anywhere while maintaining collaboration and productivity.
- • Additional perks and benefits tailored to your employment status and country, reflecting Deel’s commitment to inclusive, scalable total rewards.
- • Access to ongoing training, coaching, and skill development programs designed to accelerate your growth as a sales professional in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- • Opportunity to work with a globally diverse team of 7,000+ across 100+ countries, fostering cross-cultural learning and innovation in a culture recognized for its dynamism and inclusion.
