  • • As a Sales Development Representative II at Perforce Software, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying high-potential leads for the sales team, directly contributing to the company’s mission of empowering DevOps teams worldwide with industry-leading software solutions.

  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting targeted outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social channels to generate new sales opportunities in alignment with territory and account strategies.
  • • You will research and prioritize target accounts using firmographic, technographic, and intent data to identify decision-makers and influencers within IT, DevOps, and software development teams.
  • • You will engage prospects with personalized, value-based messaging that highlights Perforce’s solutions for version control, collaboration, and DevOps automation, tailoring outreach to address specific pain points and business objectives.
  • • You will qualify leads using established frameworks (such as BANT or MEDDIC) to assess budget, authority, need, and timeline, ensuring only sales-ready opportunities are passed to Account Executives.
  • • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, logging activities, updating contact information, and tracking outreach cadences for performance analysis.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to align on messaging, campaign feedback, and lead handoff processes, contributing to continuous improvement of outbound strategies.
  • • You will participate in ongoing training, coaching, and role-playing sessions to refine your sales techniques, objection handling, and product knowledge, supported by enablement resources and peer learning.
  • • You will track and report on key performance indicators such as call volume, email response rates, meeting conversion rates, and pipeline contribution, striving to exceed monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • • You will represent Perforce professionally in all interactions, embodying the company’s values of integrity, innovation, and customer success while building foundational expertise in enterprise software sales.
  • • You will gain deep exposure to the DevOps and software development lifecycle, learning how Perforce’s Helix Core, Helix Swarm, and other tools enable global teams to manage complex codebases and digital assets securely and at scale.
  • • You will develop transferable sales competencies in consultative outreach, CRM mastery, sales forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration, positioning yourself for advancement into Account Executive, Sales Specialist, or Sales Leadership roles within Perforce’s growing global sales organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in sales development, business development, or lead generation, preferably in a B2B technology or SaaS environment.
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach and engage C-level and technical stakeholders confidently.
  • • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • • Familiarity with DevOps, software development, or enterprise software concepts is a plus; willingness to learn Perforce’s product suite is essential.
  • • Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding activity and conversion targets.
  • • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
