Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the top of the sales funnel by executing segment-specific, email-first outbound cadences targeting program administrators (conservation districts, nonprofits, state ag agencies), ag retail and co-ops, seed/inputs/research firms, corporate sustainability teams, fuel and feedstock (45Z) entities, and commodity groups.
- • Conduct in-depth research to identify and verify the correct decision-makers within each segment, ensuring accurate seniority and contact data before outreach begins.
- • Personalize every outreach message to reflect the prospect’s specific job to be done—whether in program administration, agronomy data capture, field-trial R&D, sustainability claims, feedstock carbon intensity, or member engagement—never using generic or automated messaging.
- • Qualify inbound and outbound responses against a clear fit bar, booking only qualified meetings (SQLs) for the Account Executive, prioritizing quality over volume.
- • Maintain a clean and accurate CRM (HubSpot) by logging all activity, updating contact and segment data, and feeding actionable targeting insights back to RevOps.
- • Collaborate weekly with the sales team to refine outreach playbooks based on real-time feedback, reply rates, and conversion data by segment.
- • Operate within a modern sales stack including HubSpot for CRM and outbound, Clay and ZoomInfo for enrichment, and AI tools like Claude to optimize workflow efficiency.
- • Focus on consultative, account-based selling where each customer segment has a unique messaging framework tied to its specific needs and pain points.
- • Ensure all outreach is written in plain, human language—free of jargon, hype, or automation signals—to earn genuine replies and build trust.
- • Manage multiple segment cadences simultaneously without dropping tasks, maintaining strict organization and follow-through across diverse buyer types.
- • Iterate quickly on feedback, demonstrating resilience and coachability in a high-volume, research-heavy outbound environment where targeting precision determines success.
- • Measure success by qualified meeting (SQL) volume and SQL rate, not just total meetings booked, with continuous improvement driven by data and team feedback.
- • Onboard by learning the product, customer segments, and cadence library within 30 days, shadowing the sales team and beginning prospecting.
- • By day 60, independently run outbound campaigns across assigned segments with high targeting accuracy and consistent reply quality.
- • By day 90, consistently meet or exceed SQL targets while contributing actionable insights to RevOps on what messaging and segments are converting.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1 to 2+ years in a quota-carrying SDR/BDR or outbound sales role selling B2B SaaS with $50k+ ACV
- • A research-first mindset focused on identifying the right buyer and tailoring outreach, not blasting lists
- • Strong written communication skills to craft short, human, plain-spoken emails that earn replies without jargon or automation
- • Comfort with modern sales tech stack (CRM, sales engagement, enrichment tools) and willingness to learn FarmRaise’s tools
- • Strong organization and follow-through to manage multi-segment cadences without errors
- • Resilience and coachability to iterate quickly on feedback in a numbers-driven, high-rejection environment
🏖️ Benefits
- • $55,000 base salary plus uncapped commission with OTE of $90,000
- • Employee stock options
- • Health-care, dental, and vision coverage
- • Unlimited PTO with a minimum of 10 business days strongly encouraged, plus over 1.5 weeks of preset company closures on US holidays
