- • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Popl, you will be at the forefront of our revenue generation efforts, playing a pivotal role in our hyper-growth phase. You will be responsible for engaging with a consistent flow of warm marketing leads, meticulously qualifying them, and expertly booking high-quality demo meetings for our Account Executive team. - • Your primary responsibility will be to connect with warm marketing leads through a multi-channel approach, including phone calls, personalized emails, and strategic LinkedIn outreach. The goal is to identify their specific needs and challenges related to in-person go-to-market strategies and demonstrate how Popl's innovative AI-native platform can provide a powerful solution.
- • You will act as the crucial first point of contact for potential customers, initiating conversations that uncover pain points and clearly articulate the value proposition of Popl. This involves understanding their current event strategies, identifying areas where they struggle with lead capture, enrichment, and CRM synchronization, and positioning Popl as the essential tool to transform these interactions into measurable pipeline and revenue.
- • A key objective of this role is to directly drive pipeline growth. By setting a consistent volume of high-quality meetings for the Account Executives, you will be directly contributing to the company's revenue targets. Your success will be measured by your ability to generate qualified opportunities that move through the sales funnel.
- • Beyond direct outreach, you will contribute to Popl's brand awareness and inbound lead generation efforts through content creation. This involves recording your most effective sales calls, analyzing successful outreach strategies, and collaborating with the marketing team to publish engaging content on LinkedIn twice per week. This initiative aims to showcase our expertise, attract new prospects, and reinforce our position as a leader in the In-Person Go-To-Market category.
- • As you develop and ramp up in the role, you will transition into outbound prospecting. This will involve proactively identifying and targeting key personas within organizations that invest heavily in events and conferences, such as event marketers and newly hired event professionals. You will leverage various tools and techniques to craft compelling outreach campaigns that generate new interest and opportunities.
- • Maintaining impeccable CRM hygiene is paramount. You will be responsible for accurately and diligently recording all interactions, prospect information, and activity details within HubSpot and Salesforce. This ensures clean, reliable data that supports effective sales and marketing strategies and provides clear visibility into the sales pipeline.
- • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and leadership teams to continuously refine our messaging, targeting strategies, and overall outreach approach. Your insights from front-line interactions will be invaluable in shaping our go-to-market strategy and ensuring we are effectively reaching and resonating with our target audience.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or field sales/marketing role, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector.
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- • Demonstrated comfort and confidence in making phone calls and a proactive attitude towards receiving coaching and improving sales techniques.
- • A self-starter mindset characterized by hunger, curiosity, proactivity, and coachability.
