📋 Description

  • • As a Sales Development Representative focused on the SME & Growth segment in Hong Kong, you will be a critical driver of Airwallex’s growth engine by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-potential prospects to fuel the sales pipeline in one of Asia’s most dynamic financial hubs.
  • • Your work directly contributes to expanding Airwallex’s footprint in the Hong Kong SME market, enabling businesses to access seamless cross-border payments, spend management, and embedded finance solutions that unlock global scalability.
  • • Day to day, you will develop relationships with prospects through strategic outreach, using effective questioning to uncover business needs, assess viability, and determine fit for Airwallex’s integrated financial platform.
  • • You will move qualified leads through the buyer journey by nurturing interest and guiding prospects toward booking product demonstrations, ensuring a smooth transition to the sales team.
  • • You will execute targeted outreach ‘plays’ across multiple channels—including cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn engagement, and social touchpoints—to optimize response rates and build consistent pipeline momentum.
  • • You will present Airwallex’s value proposition clearly and persuasively, tailoring product demonstrations to address specific pain points in areas like FX conversion, multi-currency accounts, and automated reconciliation.
  • • You will maintain high activity standards by consistently working through lead lists, meeting or exceeding SLAs, and ensuring accurate, timely logging of all interactions in the CRM system to support forecasting and weekly performance reporting.
  • • You will continuously test and refine outreach strategies by experimenting with messaging, timing, and channel mix, then sharing insights and best practices with the team to improve collective effectiveness.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the SME & Growth Business team in Hong Kong and Singapore, contributing to a culture of innovation, accountability, and shared success in serving ambitious SME clients.
  • • You will gain deep expertise in global fintech solutions, sales methodologies, and cross-border financial operations, accelerating your career in a high-growth, mission-driven environment backed by top-tier investors and serving industry leaders like SHEIN, Qantas, and Brex.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required to effectively engage with prospects and clients in the Hong Kong market.
  • • Proven track record of top performance or prior success in an SDR, BDR, or similar lead generation role, demonstrating consistent ability to meet or exceed activity and conversion targets.
  • • Strong self-motivation and resilience to thrive in a hyper-growth, fast-paced environment while maintaining discipline and adaptability amid changing market conditions.
  • • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions clearly and build rapport quickly over phone, email, and video.
  • • Process-oriented mindset: experience developing, following, and refining sales procedures to ensure scalability, efficiency, and data integrity in CRM usage.
  • • Natural collaborator and team player who builds strong internal relationships while also being capable of independent, proactive prospecting and follow-up.
