  • • As Sales Director at Voltus, Inc., you will lead the sales strategy and execution to drive revenue growth by expanding the company’s customer base in the distributed energy and virtual power plant markets. This role is critical to scaling Voltus’s impact in enabling faster, cleaner, and lower-cost grid capacity by optimizing existing infrastructure.
  • • You will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with facilities, manufacturers, and institutions, and building long-term relationships that expand Voltus’s virtual power plant portfolio. Day-to-day activities include forecasting, pipeline management, coaching sales representatives, negotiating complex deals, and collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams to align solutions with customer needs.
  • • Voltus is a mission-driven energy technology company focused on accelerating the transition to a resilient, decarbonized grid by aggregating distributed energy resources into virtual power plants that compete in wholesale electricity markets. The company operates at the intersection of energy, technology, and sustainability, serving commercial and industrial clients seeking to monetize their flexible energy assets.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in energy markets, wholesale electricity pricing, and demand response programs while honing leadership skills in scaling sales organizations. 🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record in B2B sales leadership, preferably in energy, technology, or sustainability sectors
  • • Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams
  • • Strong understanding of wholesale electricity markets, demand response, or distributed energy resources
  • • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-suite and technical stakeholders at large institutions
  • • Experience with complex, consultative sales cycles involving technical and financial decision-makers
