  • • As the Defense Sales Director at Point One Navigation, you will be instrumental in establishing and scaling our go-to-market strategy within the critical defense and federal sectors. Your primary objective will be to build a robust pipeline of opportunities, convert strategic engagements into contract awards, and solidify Point One Navigation's position as a trusted and indispensable partner in the defense ecosystem.
  • • This role demands a proactive and results-oriented individual with a proven history of success in navigating the complexities of Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other federal government procurement processes. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing disciplined capture plans across various federal contract vehicles and procurement pathways.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve conducting in-depth discovery with program managers and technical stakeholders to deeply understand their mission needs and effectively align Point One Navigation's advanced Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) solutions with these critical requirements. You will also play a vital role in shaping early-stage requirements where opportunities arise, ensuring our technology is integrated seamlessly into future defense programs.
  • • You will cultivate and nurture strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across service branches, defense laboratories, other federal agencies, and prime contractors. This network will be crucial for embedding Point One Navigation's resilient navigation capabilities into larger, mission-critical defense programs, thereby directly contributing to enhanced mission outcomes across land, air, maritime, and autonomous systems.
  • • Success in this position requires a deep understanding of our cutting-edge GNSS, PNT, and resilient navigation technology stack. You will need to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions that resonate with the unique demands of defense and federal clients.
  • • You will be adept at navigating complex negotiations, ensuring all agreements are aligned with the specific nuances of defense and federal procurement environments. This includes understanding contract types, negotiation strategies, and compliance requirements.
  • • Collaboration will be a cornerstone of your success. You will work closely with internal technical teams, product development, go-to-market operations, and executive leadership to accelerate deal velocity, provide market feedback, and shape strategic direction for the federal vertical.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong executive presence and employ consultative selling skills to build credibility and trust with senior government officials and industry partners. Regular travel will be required to engage with customers, attend industry events, and foster key relationships.
  • • This role is pivotal in driving durable revenue growth within the federal vertical, directly impacting the company's mission to deliver precise location solutions for autonomy, safety, and operational superiority in mission-critical defense environments.
  • • You will be a key player in translating our technological innovation into tangible mission success for our defense and federal partners, ensuring they have the most reliable PNT capabilities available, especially in environments where traditional GPS is insufficient.
